The Mill Inn, Aldeburgh
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Mill Inn should be a familiar site to any visitor to Aldeburgh - it's situated almost on the beach, just opposite the 17th Century Moot Hall. The pub, too, is of a similar vintage although things are somewhat more modern inside. It's a jolly, locals' pub serving an excellent pint of Adnam's (including Old Ale) and locally produced or caught food (serving times can be a bit variable, so you need to check), that's also pretty welcoming to visitors. Adding to the atmosphere is a fake (gas) open fire, that is, nonetheless a welcome sight on a wet and windy day after a walk on the beach.
