Good community pub with food, good beer, friendly atmosphere with a really mixed clientele. The big screen is almost always showing football or sport of some sort and the pool table and dart board are well used.
The food is a mix of standards and specials and is served in the main in the Lounge bar.
When we visited there were only 2 ales on (Pride and Doom Bar) but there are often 4 racked. Some outdoor seating back and front and a covered smoking area.
Good pub and an enjoyable visit on a busy Saturday.
