The George & Dragon Inn is a unique 17th century gem at the heart of a traditional Saxon village in the glorious South Downs National Park. It has a good reputation for serving British food with an international twist - always home cooked with the freshest seasonal ingredients, locally sourced where possible.There Sunday lunch is fantastic with a choice of roasts as well as a few fish dishes. When I visited the pub they had a good range of well kept local real ales including Sussex Gold from the Arundel Brewery. The pub has always been a favorite watering hole for walks as the pub is surrounded by beautiful landscape... if you want to eat its a good idea to book... well worth a visit.
