Rising from the ashes of the former Wilton Ashes (only metaphorically!), The Taproom is an unexpected pleasure in Batley town centre and has been totally refurbished to bring it back to its former glory as the town's busiest taproom. In an area which is pretty thin on decent pubs, this 200 year old house is building a significant reputation in the area for its real ales (six handpulls)and wine list from independent growers. It also features the best of local acoustic and semi acoustic live music acts every Friday and Saturday nights, and plans food in the near future. It's a real jewel!
