love this pub - It's a bit grubby and the toilets aren't the best but the bar staff are friendly and attentive. They serve good beer, the Hobgoblin currently on is particularly good. There's a live band every Friday mainly R&B (Doors not Beyonce) but also Blues and occasionally drifts into 80's covers. There are several large rooms where you can escape the music if it doesn’t suit and a Beer Yard out back (I can’t call it a garden) if the sun is out. This is a proper locals pub with the age group of the clientele on the older side which as an old fart I don’t mind.
