This is a warm and welcoming pub that offers good traditional food and an expectatioanl good carvery. The staff make you welcome and are friendly, although its a locals pub they are happy to see visitors. The pub is open plan inside but with two distinct sections, with the back section laid out for dining. There is a rear beer garden that gets busy in summer months and makes a perfect place to spend a few hours.
