Bat & Ball Inn, Brighton
FancyaPint?'s review...
Serious locals pub in the Ditchling Road area. This one feels like a lot of Irish bars, in that Guinness and lager are the main drinks on offer to go with the sport on the big screen telly and the dart board in the corner. It's welcoming enough, if you don't mind being scanned by all the locals when you go in. It's also pretty busy of an evening, with regular live music acts, karaoke and a regular quiz. And it's location makes it a good place to go after a kick-about in the park across the road.
