The Druid's Arms, Brighton
FancyaPint?'s review...
The word 'quirky' can be applied to a lot of pubs in Brighton, though not in a derogatory fashion. This one's no exception, with rather odd (and disturbing) plastic hubcap sculptures on the walls and ceilings in the shapes of fantastic creatures - the one behind the bar reminds us of something, but we're not entirely sure what. It does Thai food to go with the beers on tap which looks pretty good from what we could see. Friendly staff, marginally cheaper beer and a convivial atmosphere makes this a good solid place to go, though we were disappointed there wasn't more reference to druids. One word of warning, the stripped floors make it a bit noisy with a number of people in, so not one for that quiet chat.
