This is a very small friendly pub with one bar dedicated to racing in terms of decor and based on what's showing on TV. It's one of those old fashioned establishments that are a reminder of how pubs used to be. What more can we say? A good solid pint in a good solid pub.

From London Road: turn right out of the station into Ditchling Rise and the go across Beaconsfield Road and then Preston Road into Argyle Road. The pub is ahead on the left. From Brighton Station, turn right out of the station and right into Terminus Road. Head North and make a slight right into Howard Place. Continue on until you get to Chatham Place. Turn right and carry on until you reach Argyle Road on the left. Turn left and the pub is ahead on the right.
