Just North of Western Road, beyond the ugly shopping centre, the Florist is a nice little corner pub. Formerly a Lesbian bar called the Princess Victoria (which has now relocated) this is a modern pub, with a traditional approach. Inside you'll find simple décor, yet with enough interesting touches and some good lighting to give it plenty of character. Service is friendly and prompt, while our last visit found three ales to choose from, all well kept. If you fancy a respite from shopping, or a relaxed evening pint, you won't go far wrong here.
