Close to the station the Mitre Tavern is a brilliant drink stop on your way out or on your way home. This is an unspoilt back street pub which are few and far between in Brighton these days. It can be difficult to pop in for a quiet drink though as the regulars do get quite loud especially on a Friday and Saturday night but then who doesn't.
