The closest pub to my house. Unfortunately the layout of the bar is poor, it always seems dirty and the landlord is rude and aggressive. Go to The Windmill across the road for better beer, a nicer experience and a friendlier welcome. The Montpelier is best avoided. Nasty venue, nasty beer, unpleasant landlord.
