Very pleasantly surprising pub. From the outside it looks as if it's going to be a bit of a dive but the staff and some of the customers couldn't be friendlier. In the two window areas there are sofas and bean bags providing a relaxing hangout area to watch the world go by. The pool table is in an area of its own and the ideas and entertainment just don't seem to stop coming - live bands and open mic nights, DJs, poker nights, student nights, darts nights, board games, quiz night - phew! One to discover and have an entertaining pint.

From London Road: turn right out of the station into Ditchling Rise and the go left into Beaconsfield Road. Cross over into the road by the cinema and the pub is ahead on the right in London Road. From Brighton Station, turn left out of the station into Trafalgar Street and follow it all the way down to York Place. Turn left and head up York Place into London Road, and the pub is ahead on the left.
