Bunch of Grapes, Southville
FancyaPint?'s review...
Hidden down a narrow and twisty street, this is another pub that's deceptive - it seems to go on for a long way. It's a decent pub far enough off the beaten track that you have to know it's there, which makes a difference. It does have a reputation as a live music venue, with regular music nights on Tuesdays(blues), Fridays and Saturdays, with an acoustic session (open mic) every Wednesday. And when they don't have music on, they have "the best jukebox in Bristol" combined with "general drinking nights". All that in mind, they've got a good selection of real ale, with three hand pumps, and you could do a lot worse. So if you're in the mood for some live music decent beer and friendly staff and locals, this is probably the place for you. It's a great place for a quiet pint of an afternoon, as well.
