The Oak, Bromley
FancyaPint?'s review...
A genuine and honest boozer, that's not trying to be something it's not. Unlike most of the more central Bromley pubs it's not trying to attract a particular type of clientele. The food's OK, (usual pub affair, sandwiches and burgers etc), and there are a couple of decent bitters on the hand pumps. The patio garden also looked pretty nice. When the sport is on the front area can get cramped with the rather loud crowd of locals, but you can easily escape it at the back of the pub, where instead, you'll be listening to a pretty decent range of music. The one downside is that some of the drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but it's a nice pub with generally a warm and relaxed atmosphere making any visit a pretty pleasant experience.

How to find the The Oak pub
Come out of the station and turn left and then left again and keep walking down the main road until you come to the roundabout, and then the pub is on the left hand side of the road just after it.
