Can't put my finger on why, but I have never liked this place. Nothing at all wrong with it, some of my mates love it, but its not for me. Decent mainstream pub with ok food, beer garden etc. Personally I'd walk up the road to the White Swan, or better still jump in a cab to Lichfield!
