Ahhh - the Nelson! Back in the day this was my 2nd home. Bikers, lock ins, great jukebox and full of friendly people. But then the landlord left and all turned sour. They tried to keep it going in the same vein for a while, but then sold out and turned it into a bistro (bear in mind it is very out of the way). Now seems to have turned a bit more into a 'pub', but nothing like the one me and my mate spent hours and £1000's in! 3 out of 5 for present day, 5 out of 5 for the memories!
