Carpenter's Arms, Camberley
FancyaPint?'s review...
This is a large pub, slightly off the beaten track - i.e. it's behind the big shopping centre in the centre of town, but that seems to be far enough. As it's part of a chain that was T&J Bernard's, there are no real surprises here. It does decent beer, with regular guests (T.E.A., Hogsback and Bass were on when we were in last) appearing on the pumps. If anything, it feels a bit more upmarket than the pubs on the High Street, but that could just be our imaginations. The food looks like pretty reasonable pub grub and there are regular specials to keep an eye out for - and they do Sunday Roast, which looks like a good buy. The big telly is used for sporting events and it looks like they have the occasional live music nights. With breakfast offerings until noon, it's ne to go out of your way for in .
