Located on a busy road, with a view towards a range of nationally renowned furniture warehouses and retailers of electrical goods, the Wrestlers is a surprisingly decent pub in an area of Cambridge with few local rivals. It is especially useful as a stop-off ahead of watching the U's at the Abbey Stadium, with its Thai food providing an alternative to grabbing a meat pie at the match. The please ask staff for help'' sign on the door did confuse us before we realised it didn't relate specifically to that, and we had no reason to test them apart from ordering a round. The interior is functional rather than fancy and can feel a bit dark when a lorry stops at the traffic lights outside, but the good beer and friendly staff help to compensate.
