Maltsters, Cheshunt
FancyaPint?'s review...
An unremarkable, rather gloomy post-war pub in close proximity to Cheshunt train station. Although refurbished since our last visit, we actually preferred the decor before it went down the '2-star travel lodge' look. One of three depressing looking pubs in the vicinity, this one is run by McMullen's and consequently has a couple of ales on tap, with the AK bitter surprisingly well kept. Our Sunday afternoon visit found a gathering of men watching the footy, so we decanted outside into the sun. Not one to go out of your way for, but just about merits popping in, if you're passing by.
