The Crooked Spire, Chesterfield
FancyaPint?'s review...
The crooked spire of the Church of St. Mary's and All Saints is the symbol of the town of Chesterfield in North Derbyshire. Needless to say, the name of this pub needs no glossing, and the aforementioned place of worship is right nearby, in case you were wondering. It is a very comfortable, if a little self-consciously "trendy", establishment. The drink is pretty average (continental lager and chardonnay predominate). It's not a pub for the real ale lover, but offers an alternative to the many regular pubs in this thirsty town.
