Globe Inn, Chichester
FancyaPint?'s review...
Bigger than it looks from the outside (and it doesn't exactly look small from the outside!) with wooden floorboards and plenty of tables, this is definitely a pub for football lovers, with TVs throughout. Not only is there a 103 inch screen, but there are screens in the beer garden, and small screens set above the bar so you don't miss the game while buying beer. Standard lagers, plus draught Magners and four hand pumps serving beer from the Marston's range. The Jennings Cumberland was a bit cloudy when visited, but tasted fine; the other beers didn't seem to have problems so we were probably unlucky. Service was prompt and friendly. One of our party was using an iPhone later and the barman asked if we knew about the free WiFi. Good for a lively night out with your mates, or for watching the footy, or one of the regular disco evenings. Probably not the place for a peaceful pint and game of dominoes, though.
