This is a really genuine village pub run a professional and friendly landlord. The pub is cosy with a good atmosphere, with a lounge and public bar, serving a number of guest ales. Food is wholesome and traditional, but watch out they don't serve food on a Sunday, although there put out snacks on the bar. This pub is in a great location and has a lovely view across the green. In summary this is a charming village pub.
