King's Head, Colliers Wood station

An unspoiled 1930s suburban pub beginning to show it's age a bit. Nonetheless it's a friendly enough boozer for this part of town. Reduced prices for the Young's ales on our visit - can't promise they'll be there if you look in - and old fashioned pub grub on the menu too. It covers the basics well enough and the punters looked content with their lot. Friendly barman too. Maybe not one if you're after an exciting night out but there's worse in the area. A spot of TLC on the interior would work a treat
