The Bull's Head is finding its feet nicely after its refit about a year ago. The beers on the pumps (Pride, Chiswick, ESB and one guest - Old Hooky on our last visit) were all well kept and the service was friendly and prompt. This is also one of the few pubs in Dorking that has sport on the telly, if that's your thing. The owners are big into their football and darts, so you can put your money on there being something worth watching on a Saturday afternoon. And if there's no darts on the telly, there's a dartboard squeezed into the corner. The regulars leave a little bit to be desired but the owners do their best to keep up the momentum with weekly quiz nights, theme parties and open mic sessions. Whilst it's not a place to head for if peace and quiet is your goal, the Bull's Head certainly plays an important role in Dorking's pub scene.
