The White Hart, Dorking
FancyaPint?'s review...
The White Hart is one of Dorking's genuine boozers. Located just off the high street, its appearance and nickname ("The Snakepit") is one that could put you off but it's well worth heading inside. A couple of good beers on pump (Courage and Bombardier) get things going and the pub also has its share of distractions in the form of a dart board, pool table, juke box, fruit machine and internet (strangely enough). Out the back there's a tiny outdoor sun-trap for the smokers and when you think you'd seen it all, the gents toilets comes in the shape of a Tardis (perhaps a Turdis? no?). Anyway, we hope that this dusty old place stays as it is. Long live 'the Pit'.
