Luttrell Arms, Dunster
FancyaPint?'s review...
Perhaps more hotel bar than pub, but a trip to Dunster is incomplete without a couple of snifters here. The back bar of this 15th century building is all high beams and old settles; even better on a warm day is the Monk's Courtyard or the Secret (roof) Garden. It's a formal, polite place: the staff are uniformed and the atmosphere is more one of afternoon tea than all day drinking, but the food is hearty fare and the drink selection pretty decent. A fine place all told - though have a go on the luminous Cheddar Valley cider for the full Somerset experience.
