This traditional and quiet pub in Eastbourne has real ale and a terrestrial TV. It is a saloon style bar and does welcome new customers but they do make it clear that this pub is for a quiet drink only so you get the impression that you might not be wanted there unless you're a local or are only going to have one or two drinks. It is lovely for a weekend afternoon though and the staff are very friendly.
