Teuchters Landing, Leith
FancyaPint?'s review...
Part of the redevelopment of the docks around Leith, Teuchters Landing is a welcome addition to the nightlife in these parts. It's a cosy place, part bar, part restaurant which normally is not our thing, but we're very happy to make an exception here. There is a good choice of beer on the four hand pumps, but even better is an amazing selection of single malts. Just reading the long list of what's available on the blackboard is enough to make any whisky connoisseur dizzy with delight. And, even if a wee dram is not your thing there's still probably something here for you. There's a good selection of other spirits (Bombay Sapphire is the standard gin here) a good wine list, excellent service and a relaxed vibe. Helped in no small part by the cosy decor, the lounge furniture and a wood burning stove. Teuchters Landing is the perfect place for a relaxing drink with a few friends and, with its late licence, there's no rush to leave.
