The Guildford Arms has a "Fantastique" interior with all the bells and whistles of a Victorian gin palace. Okay, it's been done up a bit, but the detail in the decoration is amazing and worth a visit on it's own. Great beer - although it was mostly English ales on our last visit (shame!) which was slightly disappointing. Good vibe and very busy. Located near the east end of Prince's Street, it's also just around the corner from the famous Cafe Royal. We like it - for he interior alone it'd be a 5, but the prompt kicking out at closing time left us a bit cold.
