Pubs with small, frosted windows can herald both the best and the worst of the industry. Will suspicious glares greet you, or will it be an untouched gem, complete with jovial landlord? This is the quandary which faced us outside the Dog & Gun. In the end, it turned out to be a decent enough place, but the lack of custom on our Sunday visit made it tough to gauge what it was really like. It's a fairly basic and functional place not without a certain charm, but it seems to be suffering in comparison to the local competition. Perhaps the For Sale sign on the wall outside was a clue. As such, we're giving a two pint rating until we can get a better handle on what it's really like in here.

Really nice pub. Recently renovated with the best beer and cheapest prices in Enderby. Good to see the Dog back
