What a great transition for this beautiful old pub. It's in a small village not far from Farnham so anyone other than regulars will have to drive there, which may cause problems because the car park is not big. It used to be an absolute dump as an "Outback" but has recently been transformed into a modern take on a country pub. Ales on the bar, slate on the floor.
Food is good and as it settles down no doubt there will be more activity than just the Quiz Night. Ale on the bar was OK but the food is the new focus for this pub.
Good refurb which might knock some of the other pubs nearby, but it will have to go some to really hurt the other free houses near here.
