The Plough is a large imposing corner pub in the heart of Freckleton. Although due to its location most people here know each other, it's still a pretty friendly place. There's one or two 'characters' and the occasional afternoon regular has a faraway look in his eye, but everything is still good-natured. There's plenty of areas in which to while away your time and a recent(ish) refurbishment has tidied things up nicely. There is also a surprising number of ales to choose from. With plenty of events in the evenings, the landlord does his most to make this a fun place to spend time, in a small town where having a good time could otherwise involve a can of beer and a park bench.
