Been coming here for karaoke on and off for years. Fairly friendly people, current karaoke did has a great personality, you'll get the hardworking bar staff who are fine. But with management serving on the night, that's a different story. On one occasion, one older woman in our group was refused water because she didn't drink, and did not want or need any soft drink, juice etc, just the company of us, we were fairly making up for it with the number of us. Another guy I know, would buy one drink and that would do him for a few hours, again, he was told to buy more drinks. And watch your change, and check quickly, because if you take too long re-counting your change to make sure you're right and not accused of being the thief, before even thinking about confronting an already tempered management about it, you will be told you should've came back right away. And then after that, you're abruptly insisted to hand empty glasses across the table, I know some are not gifted with height, but after incidents where you're insisted to line the pockets, but helping with their job too. Funny how you're short changed and never given too much, eh? Business must be hard these days. The place is your traditional Glasgow pub, with its usual occasional trouble, a place that may have been good in her prime, but now old, out dated and in serious need of a facelift. And now, 'like the bar' the management attitude stinks.
