The Farrars Arms is a beautiful stone built building on the outside, but sadly mish mash of unsympathetic refurbishments on the inside. Dingy, not cosy was the feel. Still, we sat outside in the weak Lancashire sun with our reasonably kept ale and enjoyed the vista. If you lived nearby this would no doubt suits your needs but for casual passers by, it's not a place to linger.
