Your friendly local source of high quality food and drink in the heart of Hastings Old Town.

 

Following extensive refurbishment, The Crown has reopened its doors as an independent freehouse.
Nestled between the beach and East Hill Country Park, we serve delicious food and drink in the heart of Hastings Old Town.

 

We’re always on the look-out for local talent to showcase, so whether you’re an artist, craftsperson or musician, don’t hesitate to get in touch. If you are interested in hiring out our space, or booking a table (8 people or over), we look forward to hearing from you. You are welcome to use our snug or communal table for a meeting, group, workshop or event, we are very open to ideas.

Detailed Description

We are currently serving a menu comprising of local seafood, local cheeses and local cured meats. We make our own desserts, homous, soup and pickles.

 

We stock a wide variety of unusual beers including Freedom Stout, Hastings Brewery, Franklins brewery, Rothaus German pilsner and wheat beer, Time and Tide, local cider and perry, and a selection of craft bottled beers.
