FlanigansBar & Diner, Hayes
FancyaPint?'s review...
Flynn's isn't an Irish pub on the junction of a dual carriageway - its an Irish 'bar and diner' - and pretty decent to boot. Food features heavily here, with good, hearty (potentially stodgy) fare a speciality; the all day Irish Breakfast at £4.95 looked deliciously unhealthy. The mix of punters on our Saturday afternoon visit also helped it to rise above our expectations, with a busy, lively and mixed crowd, all here to relax, eat and watch the unobtrusive footy (with both English and Gaelic varieties catered for). The well-kept beer garden adds to the attractions of what is the best, albeit the only, pub in the nearby area.
