The Cross in Hand has a warm atmosphere and the staff were friendly as well as helpful. The pub has recently been refurbished and is well kept, offer excellent traditional pub food. The beers are aslos well kept and there were three cask ales on offer when I visited the pub. If you like darts or pool there is a good games area to the back of the pub.
