Different pub from what we expected in Holmfirth, land of 'Last of the summer wine'. It's a bit trendy, and seemed to be first stop for many on an evening's pub crawl. So, on entry don't be put off by the crowd at the bar, there are usually some seats round the corner - uncomfortable seats, but seats nonetheless. Oh, and there is a restaurant upstairs if you get hungry.

From the A624 Woodhead road, turn down Victoria Street and cross the river. Keep going straight and you come to Dunford Road dead ahead. Pub is on Dunford Road, about 50 yards up on the right.
