Great pub. Beer is always good with a nice selection and the burgers defy science!

Great local pub that ticks all the boxes. I believe a free-house that always a very good selection of ale and cider that's kept well, turnover seems to be high and so you never get a lousy pint. Its a traditional inn that kept up with the times; the rooms upstairs look fantastic but are always booked out. The Beer Festival is a must for any discerning drinker. I have eaten in the restaurant on a number of occasions and that it also excellent. For wine drinkers there is a good selection of vino which are priced well. TV screens are well hidden and only come on for international rugby and (some) football matches. It mixes being a good family pub with also being a good local. Highly recommended.
