Now re-opened the Roebuck is the best pub in Leek. Titanic Brewery have done a good job of refurbishing this historic site and with upwards of ten ales on tap - and with guest beers as well as their own - this is fast becoming a favourite haunt in the Staffordshire market town.
Food is good and on the weekend the place is packed so get there early. Any criticisms would be niggly and undeserved - this is a cracking pub.

If it is a sign of how good this pub is, it is the one that prompted me to sign up to Fancy a Pint, so that I could publicly give it a thumbs up.

A huge array of beers from the Titanic brewery left me sad that I was only passing and unable to try them all. But we were only there for lunch. Three different beers were purchased and all were well kept. On the subject of lunch, the homemade black pudding scotch egg (with a runny yolk!) Wow! Other members of our party enjoyed oatcakes, ploughmans and cauliflower cheese soup. All this was tapped by helpful, friendly service from a bar manager who was dealing superbly with being busy and a member of staff down.

Quite simply a great pub!
