Despite intensive campaigning, the Pump & Tap and the Boewstring Bridge behind have finally been demolished to make way for a new University swimming pool. Our cup runs over with joy. 181 years of pub history gone.

Sadly was bought and demolished by De Montfort University last year. It will be greatly missed!
