Alexandra, Penge
FancyaPint?'s review...
A rather darkly lit boozer, governed over by the sort of landlord who you wouldn't argue with at closing time. Saying that, the kids who were running about the pub seemed have carte blanche to do so. Sky Sports and a pool table attract the attentions of the drinkers, and the seemingly standard Penge prerequisite of a karaoke evening is offered. As too is a Jam evening, though whether fans of Paul Weller should be hurrying along isn't made clear. A pub really for the locals. Let's leave them to it.

One of the best local boozers I've ever been in. Absolutely suberb atmosphere, particularly on music nights. Karoake twice a week - very popular and usually a brilliant night - obviosly muched loved by the locals. The monthly quiz night can be good fun - it's often in the middle of the month when not much else happns. They also seem to have a strong games and community following - I think I noticed them doing a communal curry night recently. Go and check it out - you won't go anywhere else after it!
