The All Bar One formula writ large. Clean lines with wooden floors, benches, chairs and tables mean every voice echoes and bounces off every surface. Don't go there for a good conversation - go for a good nod. But the formula works. A decent range of beers, including London Pride and - on this visit - a specially wide range of fizzy yellow stuff representing a European beer week. Attractive, young white-unformed staff will offer the change from the marginally overpriced drinks on a tip-pleading saucer. And they can never answer my my favourite All Bar One question - where is the Beano in the 'newspaper and Beano' dispenser? So what lingers? In the spirit of Fancyapint? reviewers you have to look around. And a glance upwards stunned me at the combination of fans and extractors clinging on to that ceiling. For a moment I thought I was in the Tate Modern. But no it was an All Bar One.
