Barley Mow, Marble Arch
FancyaPint?'s review...
This one hasn't really changed since we first came here. It's a fairly traditional pub with decent pub grub, friendly enough staff and Cask Marque ales on the four taps and it probably does the job for the clientele from the surrounding area - there are a few tourists in the area as well as local workers during the week, but it can be a bit quieter at the weekend. If anything, it's better than it used to be. It's not a bad place to get away from the massed shopping experience of Oxford Street, and with the upstairs seating area, it's not normally that difficult to get a seat. On the Saturday afternoon we were in last it was very relaxed, switching from the football to the rugby with little complaint from the punters. As a refuge, you could do a lot worse.

How to find the Barley Mow pub
From Bond Street, take the Gilbert Street exit from the shopping centre and turn right immediately in Weighhouse Street. Continue straight on until you reach Duke Street and turn left. It should be visible on the other side of the street.
