Baroque, West Ealing
FancyaPint?'s review...
Sadly there were no rococo designs, string quartets and floridly overdressed customers. Instead this place is as much a bar as a pub, in a dutifully restrained modern style, and it ticks all the usual contemporary boxes. The big selling point would appear to be the cocktails, but there is the usual choice of Guinness and lagers and a decent looking menu. The whole thing seems a bit incongruous in this rather down-at-heel corner of Ealing, but it does offer a trendier alternative to some of the more traditional establishments in the area.
