If you fancy a riverside stroll and a couple of drinks, the three pubs on Strand on the Green certainly fit the bill. Start at Kew Bridge and the Bell & Crown will be the first one you come to. Probably the biggest and busiest of the three, its a safe, dependable, Fuller's pub. The beer tastes good, the food looks fine and there's a comfortable air of repose to the place (added to the classical music cd playing when we visited). It's the sort of place you take your folks to when they visit London - nothing flash, just a decent pub.
