Formerly a sticky-carpeted dive known as the George, this place has reopened and has been reinvented as a sports bar that claims to have attitude. We'll check it out some time and let you know what we think.

Belushis in Hammersmith... what a sh*t pub. We had to wait for a mate near the station and went in here. Very poor beer selection but our mistake was ordering food (too hungry to move on elsewhere by time our mate arrived) and discovering the portion sizes were miniscule... a £7 plate of scampi and chips I would say was more like a starter than a main. We asked for some extra chips only to be told rudely - "you have to go back up to the bar and pay for some". Certainly won't be back and recommend you avoid this place.

How to find the Belushi's pub

Hammersmith (District and Piccadilly lines) station: wend your way through the shopping arcade to the main (Broadway) exit, and cross over the road. You should see the pub ahead and to your right. Hammersmith (Hammersmith and City line station): turn left, then left round the corner, and the pub will be right ahead of you. It's less than two minutes' walk from either station.
