Well, we couldn't see that this pub, once heralded as the first Polish pub in Acton, is particularly Polish now - and having Polish beer and vodka behind the bar doesn't exactly make it Polish, either. Nor did any of the patrons seem to be eastern European, either. If anything, it's a standard chain pub of the type you see in any city centre. No real ale, tellies sprinkled throughout and lots of people drinking in the middle of the day didn't exactly do it for us either. If that's what you're after, great. We have to say this one left us cold. One day, we hope to review a genuine Polish free house, rather than simply reporting on the exploits of a pub company that seems to be claiming the glory with something that feels remarkably like a contrived cash-in.
