Bishop Bonner, Bethnal Green
our final review

last rating (well, would have been rated):
Although we were familiar with this place, we didn't ever get around to doing a formal review of this pub for fancyapint.com. Probably the main reason for this was the particularly hostile bar staff and punters that frequented the place on the few times we visited it. From the moment you opened the door you were marked as an outsider and the best possible place for you was obviously "not in 'ere". Whilst we're never happy for a pub to close, especially one that's been open since Victorian times and managed to survive the blitz, in this instance we're not sorry it's been converted into flats.
Thankfully, a pub that closed.
That's not the end of the story - tell us what you know about this pub
This pub is no longer open, but that doesn't mean we're not interested in it any more. If you have anything to tell fancyapint.com readers about this pub, let us know using the comments below, or via email to editor@fancyapint.com. It might be something about its history, an anecdote about the past, what the future plans are for it, or even it's reopened again as a pub - it has been known to happen.
